Welcome to Peppe's blog

Updated: Aug 26, 2019

Hello friends, thanks for your interest and welcome to Peppe’s blog.

This part of my website will be focused on sharing my journey as a movement student, teacher and obsessed practitioner😊

I intend to share my approach towards movement development, any layer of it:

- the conditioning side ( strength, endurance, speed )

- the coordination side ( motor control, balance, rhythm, reaction timing…)

- the mobility side ( stretch tolerance or muscle flexibility and articular or joint mobility )

- the artistic and “sports” side ( Dance, Gymnastics, Martial arts, Basketball, Football…)

What a geek RIGHT?!!!??!! Ha Ha Ha

And most importantly I intend to promote the LONGEVITY side of movement, the HEALTH aspect and the ANTIFRAGILITY component that every human body should possess.

Before moving to some “practical knowledge” ( the good stuff ) I would like to acknowledge and thank the teachers that have influenced me the most:

- My mother “Angelina”

For teaching me… to move, to react, to be strong, to think twice and to PERSEVERE, to be nice, to be bad, to be everything else in between.

- Ms. Anna Maroutian

For helping me, for supporting me, for believing in me, for forgiving me, for loving me and for teaching me many, many, many and many things.

- The University of Turin (Italy)

For giving me theoretical knowledge, practical experience and the possibility to get out there and teach what I am truly passionate about, Movement.

- The Ido Portal Team

For teaching me that we never stop being students, for teaching me how to be one, for showing me a process that WORKS, a process that is true as the time that you put into it, a process that has helped many people around the world regain the freedom and joy that only movement can provide.

- The Strength Sensei - Mr. Charles R. Poliquin

Health, Strength and Conditioning, nutrition, brain health, training program design, biomechanical assessments tecniques and more, more more more more!

- Mr. Farid Herrera

The skills of this guy speak for himself. He has taught me about arching acrobatics, fear management and some great spotting techniques. Farid's style of teaching is so clear that it's just impossible to not understand!

- Mr. Yeray Morillas

My Spanish camarada and training partner who has taught me a lot - sharing many insight about Handbalancing, Acrobatics, Music, Economics and life in general.

- Mr. Miguel Santana

Miguel is an amazing Handbalancing teacher who has influenced the most the way I practice and teach the art of balancing on your hands.

I have learned from many other amazing teachers, I thank you all and hope to continue learning from you.

WoW! Well done you, you got till here, now what?

Look out for my next post. You won’t regret it.

Oh I almost forgot, as a true Italian I have to say that I absolutely love FOOD, expect some really amazing recipes that will fuel your movement practice and make you wonder why I don’t own a restaurant (All things in due course😊).

Ok Peppe, now that I appear to be getting hooked, I want to know more about the nutrition and the 12 chin-ups in 12 hours, that’s right isn’t it?
